Shape Up & Go!

A Good Idea

Description

Shape Up & Go! is a workplace wellness program that encourages physical activity and improvements in nutrition among Cleveland Clinic employees.

After registering and filling out a profile, employees form teams and compete over 12 weeks to see who will exercise the most, walk the most pedometer steps, and/or lose the biggest percentage of weight. Employees track their progress and submit their results every two weeks, and winners are announced after the final week. Shape Up & Go! is funded by the Cleveland Clinic and a registration fee charged to employees when they sign up for the program.
