Morris Habitat for Humanity has partnered with Table of Hope for a mobile food drive around Morris County assisting nearly 900 families with delicious nutritious food
We conducted 1:1 health coaching sessions for 6 individual women meeting every two weeks. Participants lost weight, improved energy levels, focus, and self care routines.
We provided a whole food program for 11 participants. Participants learned about healthy eating with the seasons, menu planning. They lost weight, had more energy, and gained more proficiency with home cooking.
2,050 children came to the farm to plant, have tastings and a lesson. 37 families came to the farm stand to receive fresh produce. 100 families garden with us at the Early Street Community Garden, surrounded by a unique and sustainable public parklet.
Outreach/Output More than 3,000 students received nutrition education in the classroom as part of a farm to school education program. Student connections are made through in-class visits covering topics including plant science, healthy eating, and environmental stewardship. The program created opportunities for students to connect to the soil and learn that where their food comes has a direct impact on healthy eating habits for children and their families.
Facilitated a 2 week detox with 25 people. All 25 reported experiencing more energy, better sleep, more clarity, increased productivity. All Lost between 6-10 pounds.
71 youth participated in Branching Out and there were 65 Community Garden members.
