This indicator measures the rate of visits to hospital emergency rooms with a primary diagnosis of influenza.. Data come from the New Jersey Hospital Discharge Data Collection System (NJDDCS) with support from New Solutions, Inc. Influenza is classified according to the Clinical Classifications Software 2014 (Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project, AHRQ).
